Baked Cauliflower

Cauliflower

Ingredients for 2/3 servings

½ cauliflower (about 500 gram)

1 teaspoon of garlic powder

Drizzle of Sun flower oil

1 small Stock cube

Cut the cauliflower in small roses and dispatch on a baking tray. Drizzle generously with oil and sprinkle with garlic powder so all the roses have a very thin garlic layer. Now take a stock cube between your fingers and squeeze it to dust, make sure there are no big chunks, they are not tasty. Sprinkle the stock cube over the cauliflower and toss everything together. Bake in the oven on 400F/ 200C until soft and nicely colored. Don’t be worried if some spots are a bit dark, those are the nice bits.

  1. Hi Janneke! I just came upon your cooking blog and I can’t wait to try these recipes. I grew up in a Colombian-American home and garlic and onions were part of everyday cooking for me.

    This roasted garlic sounds so good! I’m going to try it. 🙂

    • Good luck, it’s really easy and no work. I tried a traditional Colombian dish when I was on a Latin American festival last summer, a whole roasted pig stuffed with rice, absolutely gorgeous.
